Royal Wharf will release for sale their latest installment of new homes at the unique riverside neighbourhood in London’s Royal Docks. The launch includes two, three and four bedroom duplex apartments, located in the mansion style Compass House building along with apartments in the popular Latitude Building which overlook the River Thames.
On the day a duplex four bedroom show apartment, interior designed by Milc Style, in Endeavour House, one of the development’s completed buildings, will also be unveiled. This follows the completion of the first of Royal Wharf’s residential units last year and the arrival of the development’s first residents; completed homes include suites, one, two and three bedroom apartments as well as three and four bedroom townhouses. All units being released for sale on the 29th are due for completion this year, with some homes ready for occupation by the end of the summer.
The new homes are expected to appeal to young families looking for more space whilst still enjoying London life and proximity to the capital’s leisure and work opportunities, the release includes units up to 2,416sq ft in size and are predominately duplex units which work well for family life. To celebrate the launch, the developers are hosting a Park Life event on 29th July, 12-4pm, in the Royal Wharf Park. The event seeks to take advantage of the development’s sprawling green space and welcomes those who wish to experience life at the development. Activities include face painting and a play themed baking workshop by BKD, with a sumptuous selection of food and drink available for children and adults.
The homes all have generously proportioned kitchen and living areas, and expansive windows which offer an abundance of natural light and spectacular views over the river Thames, O2 and Canary Wharf. The buildings themselves are inspired by the traditional Georgian architecture of Belgravia and Fitzrovia, in keeping with the classic character of London yet contemporary in style. The developers have made use of the industrial materials reflected in the surrounding docklands, creating a rich variety of architectural styles that will stand the test of time.
Royal Wharf will create an entirely new community, with a network of interconnecting streets leading onto town squares and gardens, including Sovereign Place – the development’s Marylebone style high street and focal point. Sovereign Place will provide independent cafes, shops, restaurants and bars for residents and locals alike and a deal has been signed to provide a 3,900 sqft Sainsbury’s at the heart of this retail offering. Royal Wharf life offers both space to breathe, indoor and outdoor, and all the conveniences of apartment living with a concierge service and residents amenities including The Clubhouse leisure facility.
Located on the riverfront, Royal Wharf is inspired by the energy of the River Thames and the area’s maritime heritage. Residents will be able to step out of their apartments onto the 500m of riverfront promenade or the development’s own 2.4 acre park or two riverside parks which border the development, Barrier Park and Lyle Park. Scattered around the development are many secluded pocket parks, garden squares and tree lined avenues, with almost half the acreage devoted to green open spaces, Royal Wharf generates a reals sense of natural openness, a green haven in a bustling city.
Moments from Canary Wharf and situated in the artistic East, Royal Wharf has outstanding transport links to central London. Travelling from Pontoon Dock and West Silvertown on the DLR or from Canning Town on the Jubilee Line will enable residents to reach the West End in 20 minutes, Canary Wharf in five minutes and London City Airport in two minutes. In 2018 a new Crossrail station at Custom House will mean that residents can reach Heathrow Airport in just 41 minutes and the West End in 15 minutes. In addition, the Emirates Air Line, London’s only cross-river cable car, is a short walk away.
