Plumber - Permanent, London (Mainly East London, E14)

Hours: 40 per week, 08.00am - 17.00pm Monday to Friday

Opportunity to work at some prestigious residential developments within London. The successful candidate will have a background within Plumbing with an eagerness to learn, in return we will provide full training to be able to service HIU FCU units. 

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • To carry our servicing of heat interface units and fan coil units across a portfolio of residential and commercial properties in accordance with manufacturers recommendations

  • To ensure properties/apartments have correct heating, ventilation, air cooling and water temperatures all year round.

  • To carry out repairs identified during servicing including removal/replacement of pumps, valves and actuators plus bleeding systems

  • Update and log all results within 24 hours of the servicing being completed and advise sites when updates are complete

  • Ensure a list of all defects and repairs required are logged and reported back to the electrical supervisor.

  • To carry out general plumbing repairs

  • To update management so adequate stocks of materials can be maintained and identify requirements for critical spares

  • Ensure works and tasks are completed to a very high standard and conform to industry legislation

  • Deliver a first class service to customers and clients

  • Perform duties in accordance with departmental health and safety policies and procedures

  • Carry out any other duties that may from time to time be required

Skills & Experience 

  • Plumbing or HVAC qualifications

  • Proven experience in working in the plumbing or HVAC industry

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Good communication skills, both verbal & written.

  • Able to use initiative or as part of team.

  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • Experience in undertaking maintenance activities within a complex multi-building environment.

  • Understanding of good customer care.

  • Experience with working in a residential environment.
